Bodyscape
A double-sided silkscreen print, cut & folded into a 32-page accordion zine with die-cut limb elements at each end.
Exploring my relationship with my body. I am the zine.
This will be a 2"x8" art book comic with a riso-printed accordion interior on salmon parchtone paper. Each end will be glued to a a hard bookboard cover which I’ll cover with specialty paper and screen print text onto as well as adding a real artifact (shark tooth fossil or seashell).
The comic is an existential conversation between two fossilized beings, each evolving up through the strata as time passes, but nothing really changes. I'm working with Cosmic Dog House Press to print & we're making it a dual-edition collab!
Tragic School Bus Comic Series: STRANDED & EXTINCT
STRANDED & EXTINCT are both 48-page riso-printed Magic School Bus parody stories with a focus on the child endangerment aspect of magical field trips. While still educational within their chosen topics (the human circularity system & dinosaurs), each installment also ends with a missing child and some bigger lessons to be learned.
A third & final installment titled “VOIDED” is currently in the works…
Silky Shorts
Silky Shorts is my oldest work. A series of 4 original silkscreen-printed short story style one-off comics, each printed in 2 colors and formatted like a very large card. These were my senior illustration project in college and hold a special place in my heart.
