This double-sided accordion zine is inspired by the Star Trek: Next Generation & Deep Space Nine episodes, “Face of the Enemy” & “Second Skin”. In both stories, our main character (Deanna Troi/Major Kira) wakes up in horror to find they’ve been transformed into different alien species!

The front side shows 4 portraits, two representations of each woman: their transformed alien appearance & inner, true self. The back side is a spacescape featuring the USS Enterprise-D, a Romulan Warbird, Cardassian ships and the Deep Space Nine space station… as well as some relevant lyrics pulled from Avril Lavene’s “Complicated” (lol)
